Restaurant Review | Kinbuck 2 - Delhis First Roman Bistro

Kinbuck 2 is very Youthful and a fun loving Bistro that derives its inspiration from Roman World. Kinbuck 2 offers a combination of best vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It has rich interiors done up in the shades of red and grey. At the entrance there’s a big wall display made up of glass that stacks wines.
The Adjacent wall has beautiful graffiti with multicolored and vibrant murals. Inspired from Historical background at Kinbuck  in Norway, which is known for Artistic architecture, it depicts  an era of Magnificence that included  Arches and domes.

Kinbuck 2 brings a contemporary twist to the diner, essentially combining the best of both worlds: Roman looks coupled with Global food. The place also has private Mezzanine floor and a first floor which is the Open Terrace that faces our Indian flag. There is ample parking space for cars with a big parking behind the building. Also Vallet service can be availed on busy weekends. Kinbuck 2 is the brainchild of young, well-travelled passionate Foodie Anshul Garg.
Kinbuck 2 is inspired by the global food from around the world. Chef Anay Mukherjee has brought us a classic world cuisine of Lebanese, Mexican and Indian Culinary delights.
We began with a special Bread platter that included Dutch bread, Garlic bread etc.  The Dutch bread was special for its aroma and taste because it is baked for a full day till natural cracks appears on the skin. (natural texture of the bread is like tiger skin), The flavored butters served as great accompaniments too. Next on the table was Rocket leaf salad-simple yet a great summer salad as it is very high on water content to keep you hydrated for a couple of hours.

Had tried some awesome kebabs, which were well marinated and very attractively presented and tasted good but didn’t quite like Bhutiya kabab made of corn so has to be a bit sweet, which I personally don`t relish because of its sweet taste. All their dips like humus, tahini  and baba ganoush were rich in taste too.

Cottage Cheese Steak was grilled to perfection served with ratatouille and tomato sauce. Cheese was so soft that it just melted in our mouth leaving a slight creamy taste.

Bird prawns as the name suggests were presented like a nest with prawns loaded with sauce. Though this dish was not in the menu, its chefs special creation, so don't forget to ask for it on your next visit.
Other dishes on the vegetarian platter were eggplant schewan, again an exceptional way of using Brinjal on the pallete. Firgui chicken kebab was cooked to perfection. K2 friedstuff chicken is highly recommended. Vegetarian Biryani was a great delight with aromas hitting our taste buds on opening the lid even before we could take the very first bite.
No meal is complete without a dessert. We pampered our sweet tooths with Red velvet cake- an amazingly soft batter with richness of white cream. Chocolate brownie could have been softer. Last on the table aws classic Tiramisu which again is highly recommended for its smooth texture and appropriate sweetness.

In summation, Chef Anay Mukherjee is doing a brilliant job and knows what can delight foodies. He has travelled the world and has brought the expertise to the Bistro. I can very well put together as ‘Chef with the Magical hands’. Cheers
